Red Ruffle Dress, the perfect Valentine's day outfit! Here is a recent custom dress I created for a client to wear on Valentines Day, this was a mix of the ruffle collar with a flared and pleated skirt.

Green Thumb

Going green is a popular trend for weddings, the Pleated Collar Dress has been created in so many shades from mint to kelly.  Green is one of my personal favorite colors as it works so well with bouquet pairings.  Flowers are definitely high on my list of favorite things, if I wasn't a dress designer I would spend my days in a flower nursery!

I love JC shoes, especially the flats, so super comfortable.  I wore my last pair of JC flats until they wore out (literally had holes!).  I love the ruffled options available now, they have fun details like pearls, metallic stones and zippers to give that extra bit of edge.

Favorite Things: Hudson Jeans

I adore my Hudsons, best jeans ever, not only are they flattering in the rear but they also work with the ever fluctuating weight (it's the extra stretch and the great cut).   They're fabulous in all styles, trousers, straight leg or bootcut, it's all in how you style.

Favorite things: Maestro Mascara

To get my mind off this heat wave, I am listing a few of my favorite things through-out the week. 

Today I would like to point out my very fav mascara.  After years of loyalty to the fabulous Dior Show, I made a switch at my make-up guru's recommendation to the Obsidian Maestro by Giorgio Armani.  I can not say enough good things about this product, everything I've complained about in a mascara is no more.  The wand is a comb style versus the normal brush, it's hard to get use to at first but once you do it's a keeper!  Another plus, order online and you can pick up to 2 free samples!
