After moving to Chicago, dealing with construction (building walls, etc.) and unpacking, my studio/showroom space is finally set up!

A View from the Roof

I have been MIA from my blog for the last few weeks due to my recent move to Chicago. It's been both exciting and nerve racking, especially moving from the west coast to the mid-west, driving through 7 states, and dealing with all the typical relocation stuff that I would rather 'pass please' in an ideal world. Well now we are settling in, and I can finally take a breather and enjoy the view. It's nice to be in a big city again.

Favorite Things: Hudson Jeans

I adore my Hudsons, best jeans ever, not only are they flattering in the rear but they also work with the ever fluctuating weight (it's the extra stretch and the great cut).   They're fabulous in all styles, trousers, straight leg or bootcut, it's all in how you style.  

Boston Terriers

I'm seriously in love with these little guys!  I can't wait to adopt my own, below Yoda and Magnum!

Tamales Bay

This weekend was spent exploring Tamales Bay and hanging out at the Oyster co. (great place to sit back, relax, eat those yummy oysters and your drink of choice in the picnic area) It was so nice to get away from the city and drive around the north coast, we caught a beautiful sunset on our way back. It was all so beautiful and peaceful:)

BBQ

Great weather in San Francisco today, what a change from the last month. I always think back to what Mark Twain supposedly said about SF, "The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco."
Anyway, go and enjoy, have some BBQ at Ducca while you're at it!
