Something Blue: Bridesmaids!

Sky blue dresses and silver flats, the perfect combo for a bridal party and a great way to follow the old saying:

Something old, something new, something borrowed, something BLUE, and a silver sixpence in her shoe.

I was super excited to get these pics from Megan's September wedding photographed by the extremely talented Alan Friedman. I'm now a huge fan of his work which really captures the excitement of the event.

Lemon Meringue Dress

Seriously craving spring now that the holiday's are over, here are some new spring/summer dresses inspired by one of my favorites: Lemon Meringue Pie! These dresses feature a removable front bow for added romance and are made from lux cotton lace, draped with clean lines and side seam pockets! Available in White or Lemonade

Custom Ivory Dress

A recent custom project I've been working on, this was a special request by a wonderful client of mine, based off the white tiered full length dress, this is a shorter version in the ivory color way and custom colored silk tie in avocado. So much fun!

Favorite looks from J. Mendel's pre-fall 2010 collection, love the elegant, beautiful draped dresses. Asymmetrical, draped wraps have been a trend with designers for pre-fall, J. Mendel's gold version is one of my favorite examples.

I'm loving these Pre-Fall looks by Burberry for 2010, lux laces and rich neutrals. Looking forward to Fall fashion week coming up soon, even if it's just viewing from my computer!

Winter Coat

I'm always designing dresses for special occasions, so when I have an opportunity to custom design a coat it's always a welcoming thrill. Besides my love of dresses, my first love is coats especially during this cold weather season. Here is a mock-up of my most recent commission, this is a beautiful Italian plaid & tweed wool fabric, super soft and thick, sooo lux! The wood buttons go nicely with the blonde and brown colors, also matches the rustic look of the fabric. I'll be posting the finished product soon....
