Favorite looks from J. Mendel's pre-fall 2010 collection, love the elegant, beautiful draped dresses. Asymmetrical, draped wraps have been a trend with designers for pre-fall, J. Mendel's gold version is one of my favorite examples.

Oscars!

While I didn't watch the Oscars, I did catch part of the red carpet. My favorite gowns happen to be in shades of white, with Penelope Cruz being my favorite dress, she looks absolutely stunning in vintage Balmain; chic, classic and refreshingly appropriate for the most anticipated red carpet event.
I love the draping on this Elie Saab Haute Couture gown worn by Evan Rachel Wood.

OMG, the pleating is exquisite! I'm a fan of the Versace and Marisa Tomei.

I love the wispy layers and subtle but gorgeous style of this Roberto Cavalli gown worn by Taraji P. Henson.

It's Miley! She's so cute and this gown is so much fun and girly.

A Very Formal Affair

I happened to come across this article on Etsy by random chance and pleasantly discovered not only an interesting 'spotlight' article but also found that my line was included in the list of designers (pleated collar dress below)! A very formal affair indeed!
