Real Wedding: Plum Bridesmaid Dress

 Love these photos from Kristen's August 2014 wedding in Portland, Oregon!  The bride contacted me wanting the L'Amour ruffle v-neck style for her bridesmaids to wear but wanted a custom color in a deep berry color.  After sourcing several options the bride decide to go with this dark plum shade which worked out great for this beautiful outdoor wedding! Elephants and Flowers

Last month we visited the botanical gardens in Chicago and thankfully the spring flowers are in full bloom, really beautiful gardens! After such a long winter this was what we needed to see. It was so refreshing walking through such a gorgeous display of beauty, definitely can't wait to return.  Lulu wore this grey Elephant dress I made for her in cotton with an eyelet trim, we paired the dress with an aqua color cardigan and some striped grey and white leggings.  

 After the Botanical Gardens we strolled over to the zoo and saw the Giraffes!

1st Birthday Hawaiian Luau

Last month Lulu had a Hawaiian inspired luau for her 1st birthday!  I made this green eyelet dress with fabric flowers to go along with the theme. We made a birthday carrot cake with tropical flower decor and topped it off with a custom hula girl cake topper from SweetiePieCakeTopper on Etsy!

 Grandma came to visit for the birthday weekend celebration and of course we had to get a few family photos.
